2. At a glance
- This website uses no cookies, no analytics or tracking services and loads no fonts or scripts from third-party servers. This is why there is no cookie banner.
- We only process personal data if you contact us via the contact form, by email, by phone or via a messaging app.
3. Hosting
The website is operated on our behalf by an IT service provider. The servers are located in a data centre of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, in Nuremberg (Germany). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the service provider.
4. Visiting the website
When you visit the website, your browser transmits technically necessary data to the server (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type). This data is used only to deliver the page and to keep the server secure. We do not store access logs with IP addresses for this website; error logs, which contain nothing you have entered, are deleted after 14 days at the latest.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and error-free operation of the website.
5. Contact form
If you send us an enquiry via the form, we process the data you enter (name, email address, optionally company, phone number, address of the premises, type of premises and your message) in order to answer your enquiry and prepare a quote.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (answering general enquiries).
Your details are not stored on the web server but forwarded directly as an email to our mailbox info@exzellent-sauber.de. The email is sent via a Gmail account provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. A transfer to Google LLC in the USA cannot be ruled out; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the European Commission, Art. 45 GDPR).
We delete your enquiry once it has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply (e.g. for quotes and business letters under commercial and tax law).
To prevent abuse, the server keeps your IP address in memory for no more than one hour in order to limit the number of enquiries per sender. It is not stored or passed on.
6. Spam protection (ALTCHA)
To protect against automated enquiries we use ALTCHA. Your browser solves a small computational puzzle; the result is sent with the form to our own server and checked there. ALTCHA runs entirely on our server, sets no cookies and does not transfer any data to third parties.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in protection against spam and abuse.
7. Contact by email, phone, WhatsApp or Telegram
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details to deal with your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR).
The “WhatsApp” and “Telegram” buttons are plain links. Merely visiting our website does not transfer any data to these services. The relevant service only opens when you click a link; the privacy policies of WhatsApp Ireland Limited (Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland) or Telegram Messenger Inc. then apply. If you use one of these services to write to us, we receive the data you share with us there. If you do not want this, please use the form, email or phone.
8. Local storage of your display preference (light/dark mode)
If you click the button to switch between light and dark mode, your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage (entry “es-theme”) so that the page looks the same on your next visit. The entry does not leave your device and is not transmitted to us. Storing it is strictly necessary to provide this service, which you have expressly requested (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete the entry at any time in your browser settings.
9. Encryption
This website uses TLS encryption (HTTPS). You can recognise an encrypted connection by the padlock symbol in your browser’s address bar.
10. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), the right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
Right to object: Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).
A simple message to info@exzellent-sauber.de is sufficient.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent authority for us is: Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit (Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information), Gustav-Stresemann-Ring 1, 65189 Wiesbaden, Germany.
